A fantastic world of glass filled with supreme beauty and sparkle

The World Glass Museum is a luxurious collection of representative masterpieces from all over Europe, including Bohemian glass that continues to maintain the world’s finest brilliance. Located by Lake Inawashiro at the foot of Mt. Bandai, the World Glass Museum is a beautiful, transparent, and even warm amusement park in harmony with nature.

This is the largest glass gallery in Japan that brings together handmade glass products from all over the world and exhibits 25,000 carefully selected items, ranging from direct imports from around the world to original products, all at the same time. The numerous glass products on display create a mysterious and beautiful space.

The museum is crammed with a wide variety of glassware, crystal glass, Venetian glass, natural stone accessories, Indian jewelry, and more.


On the premises, there is also the Inawashiro Ji Beer Hall, where you can enjoy Inawashiro Ji Beer, which has won the International Beer Award Gold Prize, and the Inawashiro Okashi-kan, which has a collection of famous local sweets and sweets, as well as a hands-on workshop.


At the workshop, visitors can experience making glass beads, etching glasses to engrave original patterns, and blowing glass. If you wish to try them, it is recommended to make a reservation by phone in advance. Please note that no exposed feet or sandals are allowed.

Inawashiro Microbrewery

Located on the second floor overlooking Mt. Bandai, the microbrewery restaurant offers meals with five kinds of local beers that win the International Beer of the Year award every year. Enjoy the wonderful marriage of local beer and exquisite cuisine, including original sausages. At this recommended spot, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Mt. Bandai while savoring a variety of seasonal dishes devised for each season and Inawashiro microbrews.
