Tohoku Safari Park

The Safari Park is home to more than 900 animals. There are lions, tigers, giraffes, African elephants, birds, reptiles, and many other types of animals. In the free-range area, visitors can see the animals by private car, rental car, or park bus (operated only during major holidays). In the herbivore area, you can also feed the animals from your car.

In addition, the Safari Park also houses rare white animals such as white lions and white zebras. Various animal shows are also held, including a monkey theater, a sea lion show, a flamingo show, and a dog show.

Approximately 100 species and 1,100 birds live in the vast grasslands. Visitors can enjoy the unique experience of a safari park with animals that come close one after another while watching the animals’ ecology, behavior, and herds from the car.

Visitors can ride a chartered bus to feed the animals in the free-range area and interact with chicks, monkeys, and other small animals at the petting zoo. Visitors can also enjoy seal, penguin, and sea lion shows, monkey performances, and flamingo shows at the attraction site.
