Four Seasons Lane Ryokusuien

A 10-hectare garden with a pond and flower garden

The Japanese garden along the 500-meter river offers a variety of flowers and autumnal foliage. Beautiful flowers such as cherry blossoms (Someiyoshino, weeping cherry, Kawazu cherry, mountain cherry, and yaezakura), lentil, rose, wisteria, azalea, moss, azalea, mossberg, and skunk cabbage add color to the garden in each season.

In addition, although small, visitors can see the descendant trees of Japan’s three largest cherry trees, the Miharu Takizakura, the Awabokuzakura, and the Jindaizakura.

The expansive 30,000 tsubo (approximately 1.5 acre) site is filled with beautiful seasonal plants, including approximately 300,000 irises, hydrangeas, lavenders, rhododendrons, azaleas, and other flowers.

In April, more than 400 cherry trees, Japanese apricots, lentillas, daffodils, and other flowers bloom around the pond fountain, followed in May by the shibazakura cherry blossoms, azaleas, crenellations, rhododendrons, and other flowers, and in June by irises and roses reflecting on the water, said to be the largest in Tohoku, and from late June to July by a 1 ha hydrangea garden and flowers in early summer, the garden is gorgeous from season to season. The garden is a garden of flowers that colors the garden. Visitors can also enjoy barbecues and potato stew parties. In autumn, the entire garden is decorated with autumn leaves.

In addition, you can enjoy various outdoor activities such as forest bathing, bird watching, camping, barbecues, potato stew parties, and playing with water in the Gohyaku River.
